Got a call from them at around 3pm today, rushed down to collect around 4pm. So excited about my canon s90. And really thankful they worked fast after the holidays. At least it's fast enough for me. Hope you guys get your call for collection, at least s90 is in for now.

hmm, apparently the safety factor didn't work for me. At first told me one week, next week they called up say must wait another week. Then called them up again and asked, say should come by this 2 weeks. This is my 4th week waiting already. Canon, please call me to tell me it's ready for...

both are probably true. but their privilege purchase shld have equal weightage since it's a programme they decided to follow through with. though there are definitely more profits for them for customers paying full price. whatever the case is, i just want to get it before i travel overseas...

Anyone got their powershot s90 through the privileged purchase program recently? I went to their customer service centre on 10 Dec, until now they still don't have stock. I really hope the stock comes in soon so I can get my hands on one.

cheapest would be $595 through canon's privileged purchase programme. kindly read through the forums for other prices quoted for shops. it's around $650.

hmm, they called me just this morning, but they tell me they have ordered for the s90 and still waiting for the stock to come in. I guess there must be plenty of ppl on the waiting list. who knows they might turn around and surprise me with a call saying it's in on friday so i can play with it...

i went on friday for the privilege purchase program. oso getting the s90. i asked if they had stocks, they say yes, but it'll take about a week for them to order it in. i'm just hoping all our stocks come soon. they should reach you by sms, telling you to go down for collection. Can't wait for it.!!

This canon buyback program, is it available only at canon shops? What kinda cameras can we trade in?? Other brands also okay? Is it immediate, once you pass the camera over, they'll give a value to it and offer the discount?
