    Hi, If you are Nikon user, you should have got Picture Project with the camera. I use the export feature to do my resizing. Works quite well for me.

    RAW, except when I am running out of memory space! and do not have another car handy RAW allows me slight exposure adjustments and WB adjustments, that are hard with JPEG, so I prefer RAW

    Just wanted to know if any CS user has been brave enough to open and clean manual lenses. I have four that have fungus and would like to give it a consideration to restore them. They are Minolta and Vivitar lenses? Have you come across anyone who has lens repair manuals?

    Hi, I get the exposure on the D200 back to 0 you need to reset the exposure on the camera. On the top right hand, there is a button with +/- in black and white. You need to press that and tun the main command dial. With this you can get the exposure back to 0.0. TLL will not help you control...

    if you need to step back and can't you might value your kit lens more, while the 50mm f1.8 will let you work at instances without a flash. Carry both and use accordingly!

    Although I am Nikon user would say that the 400D is a better buy than the D40(X). D40 has no ability to work automatically with AF-D lenses

    Is a lens hood good all the time?

    In built flash and wide angle lenses with hood (esp 18-200 zoom) will leads to shadows and light fall off wth a dark arc if the lens hood is in place. May not be good all times, but certainly good at most times.

    One thing that I can think of is no warrenty:( , so if you spend well earned $$$ you may be left without service. If it works well it is almost = getting a second hand set (for all warranty related issues)
