i started photography in 2000 using Nikon's FM10. i felt more comfortable with the brand since then. so when the dslr's came, i naturally went for Nikon as well. now i'm using a d40x and loving it.

do have it checked. i placed a cheap rechargeable battery into mine and it has been ok for almost a year. let us know how it turns up.
