By not releasing a FF dslr Pentax will never be token seriously no matter how good their new products are. Its all about marketing, not so much about how clever you can shoot with your apsc cameras. And i find condescending to be told that FF are not necessary.

Got a question about the GR, coming from a regular Pentax DSLR world (K100D and K30) with the inbuilt body SR: how does the GR perform compared with a, say K30, in terms of low-light indoor situations? I think I am just too spoiled by the SR.

Re the problem of the darkened image in the VF at slow apertures, will it help if you do the manual focusing using the biggest apertures (2.8 or even 1.4 if your lense supports it), and then adjust the aperture accordingly?

Rumours have it that the K-5 will be using the new Sony 16mp CMOS sensor which supposedly handles high ISO like D700, don't know how true it is. The K-r will be using the 14mp Sony sensor. Let's hope that Pentax will improve on the AF and the SR.

So, it means that with liveview turned on, the OVF will be blacked out?

Got a silly question. Is it possible to have the focusing screen appearing in the liveview of the Kx? I mean, considering that the Kx does not have overlaid AF points, although they appear in the liveview, wouldn't it be great for manual focusing on liveview with the fs? Does anyone here know?

I'd say, a toy-like camera which takes incredible photos! One of the best APSC cameras around in terms of PQ.

Does the kx have the distortion and CA correction too, like the k7? I thought only the k7 has this feature. If it is so, does it only apply to DA lenses?
