should i bring tripod for daylight shooting??

I would say yes, or at least a monopod ! Also if you're shooting at noon, I'd use a polarizer filter.

    Questions on CPL filter usage

Remember that the polarizer filter works best at 90 degree angles to the sun. And also try to get in the habit of turning it counter-clockwise so that you don't accidentally unscrew it.

    Shooting sunsets

I shoot a lot of sunrise/sunset shots and basically use my Sigma 70-300mm f4-5.6. The problem I'm having is that as the scene gets darker, the lens won't take the shot. I can get the shot up to a point but then the shutter won't click. What lens does anyone use or what is the best lens in...

Wide angle lens for interior shoot

You might look into the Sigma 10-20mm, there are two versions of it, the older f4/5.6 and the newer f3.5. Both are good lenses. I don't know if they would be fast enough for darker locations, but you'd need a flash anyway.

    Sony Alpha 200 Lens Dimension

If it's a Sony lens, it's 55mm, if it's a Sigma, it's 58mm. You should find out what lens it is before you buy.

Minolta 70-200 f4 The Legendary Beercan lens

Just bought one a month ago, for $150 US. GREAT lens! Very sharp. A bit heavy, but it's worth it. I highly recommend buying one. You won't be disappointed!

Easy to use software for post processing?

Picasa is OK, but Faststone has more features and is free too.

What made you buy an Alpha over the other brands? (tua-pau, nikon, etc)

I had a Minolta 70 35mm film camera and some nice lenses so I chose Sony because the lenses work on both cameras.
