Wonderful concert! Saw many DSLRs there. Was wondering how they managed to get them through the baggage check. Or were cameras allowed at the concert?
And the D90 comes with a better kits lens too. At least in my opinion.
For me the biggest advantage of the D90 is its ISO performance. Go to dpreview.com and check out the D90 review. ISO performance between D90 and D80 is a world of difference.
I had that dilemma once. But in my humble opinion, the differences btw these two cams shouldn't matter much to someone new to DSLRs. Just go down to the shops and try both cams out. That's where you'll find your answer. ;)
thanks yoghurt! and yep, you're spot on. it was provia 100F.
had them developed (xpro) and scanned (4base) at kim tian for $10 a roll.
not sure if that's the cheapest rate around, but it's near my workplace and their service is pretty good too.
qusycusy:
I bought the velvia from a shop selling photographic stuff in sim lim.
can't remember the name of the place though.
latestmistake:
yup, all the shots were cross-processed during developing. no photoshop involved at all.
and nope you can't control the vivitar's shutter speed...
Thanks for your comment!
I think x-processing velvia gives a reddish hue instead of a greenish one.
Here are some HCMC shots using provia with the more "conventional" x-pro look..
