I read someone on my canon printer's manual, saying something like Canon Paper has a special chemical coating that reacts with the canon ink and produce the optimum result.
When I use Canon MP-101 with my i865, I get a high contrast result. I get more accurrate tones with my left over ilford...
Anyone tried Calidad Ink?
How's the fade resistance like, comparing to the originals? (especially Canon printers that uses the 6series ink)

Nope. Haven't tried it cause I didn't buy it.
I am using:
1) Ilford Photo-real silk A4: Can't take high intensity print out. Can only print at "Normal".
2) Konica 4R paper: Ok at Normal. Ink dry much faster than the Ilford paper.
3) HP Premium Photo Paper A4 (that came with my previous...
It cost 16+ per pack for 4R (100)
I read the fine prints yesterday... it has a note specifically for "Canon Bubble Jet" printers users. It advises canon users to use the normal paper instead of this cheaper version. :think:

Any one tried the cheap HP semi-gloss paper?
selling at $17 for 100 :bigeyes: pieces (4R) at Harvey Norman.
There is A4 too.. forgot the price for that.
