Yup $1395 sounds like a great price but the caveat is there's no stock. I confirmed twice. First when I walked into the store on Sun. And the next day I made a call to inquire. Same price. As comparison I also called Cathay and they quoted $1480. I also called MS Color and they quoted $1550...

I happen to be at SLR Revolution yesterday and inquired about the GF-1 and lens prices. The 7-14mm f/4 is going for $1395 (gst incl).

You sure your friend ok ? That windscreen crack seems serious ! You need a lot of force to crack a windscreen. Some injuries do not manifest itself until much later so your friend better go for a checkup.

Not all. Only the L pro grade lenses have hoods with inner velvet lining. Consumer grade lenses' hoods do not have this lining.
