When my picture from my DSLR is on my computer i can check the metadata in all the data it saids X resolution 350 & Y resolution 350 . Is that dot per inch ? My old pocket camera is X res 72 & y res 72 and the picture is lesser quality and can i find out if the new camera is high in resolution ?

I am left handed and my right is very limited . At the moment i use a DSLR which was a xmas pressie .however DSLRs are desinged for right hand people . I have difficulty using it . So i am looking for a smaler camera & lighter that would be easier to use with the left . If i dont get a dslr...
I know the photographer (me) who takes the photo owns the copyright to it.
But can i print copyright (my name) or put the copyright logo with out registering .

My camera is a alpha 390 DSLR it has three lenses two are from old Minolta they are compatible . My problem is with my lens that came with the new camera ( Sony ) it vibrates when in auto but is ok in man or any other setting other lens are fine , so i assume its the lens ?
I have a Sony a 390 are the iso setting or f- stop settings slightly different than other DSLR's like canon , nikon the reason for asking when i try same settings as in a magazine it never get same results or near them ?
