Tks Num, and how you feel your 16-35 @ 35mm, good enough for street shooting as well? Read from photozone distortion @35mm around 1.1%, not sure if can feel from photo itself.

Tks, also tried 14-24, impressive but I do need 35mm, in this case only 18-35 or 17-35 can fit my need not sure why i feel soft when i use 17-35 but I think i tried twice all in low light condition n only tried f2.8 btw, I used D90 with 17-55 before so i just compare both 16-35 n 17-35...

Tks for the reply, yes Im using D700 n finding wide angle lens, 16-35 seems just fit me coz of VR, Nano n cheaper price. But after tried twice in shop, still struggling of the distortion. 1st I cant adjust every single pic in ps n 2nd I will loose some angle after adjust thats really boring

I tired this lens in shop but found distortion@16mm is really a problem. Although it can be easily adjust in PS, feeling still not that good for this level of lens. Anybody c share if the terrible distortion only @16mm or same in 17mm,18mm... Also how the distortion comparing with 17-35...

24-120 would be great option towards current 24-70, with FX high ISO performance n VR, F4 seems not a problem in this zoom range, hopefully lighter weight n size anybody can share why Canon made that 28-300 so heavy n expensive, seems from pic Nikon's new 28-300 nearly same size as Tamron's...
