The pics are taken at ISO800, 1/5 F4.0. The pixel appears at the same spot even though I tried shooting different things. If I take photo using potrait, the spot will be on the top left, and if landscape, top right.

Hi all,
I was testing out the 10-22mm EFS lens by shooting out of my windows and I realised there's a bright dot on the photos when I view them in DPP. I was shooting in RAW. So I changed back to my 24-105mm and there bright dot is still there. I've cropped out the part with the bright dot...
Thanks all for the comments. Yea, I guess shoot more, experimenting with all the options, I can learn.

I was thinking if it's cos of the power rating... But anyway, I've tried the original cable that came with the camera, it's not working.
I'm suspecting the WIA driver now. Guess I gonna live without tethered shooting until I format my computer.
Hi estel,
I've installed all the necessary software provided on the CD and updated them to the latest version. But the remote shooting / camera setting option is still greyed out.
Btw, the USB cable I'm using it's not the one that came with the camera. Maybe I will try that tonight.
I'm not too concern with the battery draining issue. It's more of the lifespan of the gyroscope inside, leaving it on during storage / transportation will it have any adverse effect on the lifespan?
Ok, maybe I worry too much. :D
