Hi folks, Btw, if we buy tamron/canon lens from overseas and its on int'l warranty... Will the local svc centre actually support the warranty? Exploring my options since it seems cheaper from overseas especially for tamron 

I certainly have a better idea now when selecting my next lens... Appreciate the tips and sharing... Will ponder in the next couple of days. Hopfully to nail it down soon :D Cheers!

Thanks for all the comments everyone.... I sort of shortlisted the 18-200/270mm for convenience and avoid having to bring 2 lenes during holidays. Understand will need to compromise on IQ at times.... Checked out the pictures and reviews on the website... Canon seems to have better...
