i will seriously recommend you get the Olympus TCON-14B. it is a superb piece of glass, in fact one of the best TCONs around and can be used if you buy a 58-62mm step-up ring. think I saw someone selling it in sg yahoo auction.

the design of the so called E-500 doesn't look very Olympus to me... looks cheap and plasticky like you know what.

Looking to get a slim or compact digicam, as small and as light as possible for bringing around site works. But preferably it must have 28m FOV. Seems very hard to find as all the wide angle digicams are the prosumers which are bulky and heavy. Any recommendations? :)

that sounds like quite a decent price to replace the rubber grip. do agree that the E-10 is a great camera, still capable of beautiful images.

no that cannot be done for panasonic cameras. it can be done as shown by olympus and canon camera control software which is useful for studio shoots.
