    What is this NIKON AF 70-300mm f/4-5.6G Zoom Lens suitable for?

    Correct me if I'm wrong 18-105mm kit lens for D90 is DX format. And the 70-300mm is not so it should behave like 105mm-450mm on your D90. So it doesn't overlap :)

    D90 Error

    It doesn't happen most of the time and I'm new to the dSLR. I tot some setting that I did that cause it to not being able to focus.

    D90 Error

    same problem I had with D90+18-105mm kit lens. Can be frustrating at times especially when you need it. Let us know if there is anything that we can do to get rid of that F__ error.

    focusing issues in D90

    I have the same problem with D90 + 18-105mm VR. It can be frustrating at times especially when you need to take a shot. Sometimes it resolve itself when zoom and unzoom or switch off and on. Sometimes it doesn't and it takes like forever to recover. :dunno:
