Kruger National Park, South Africa, Day 1 Part 1

Thanks Synergy, you may be right about the bokeh for the elephant shot, but I also wanted to show him in his environment and the most I could have gotten with the TC on was f5.6

Kruger National Park, South Africa, Day 1 Part 1

Thanks Victor The Sony 2x TC is a VERY good piece of kit, it currently only works with the two Sony white lenses (70-200 2.8 G & 300 2.8 G). No real loss of image quality when using it. And sharp is almost always what I'm looking for:) Mark

Hands on! My thoughts having played with the A700

Tank, 1. Yes it's much quieter and sounds much more what I think a camera should sound like. 2 & 3. Sorry, didn't think to try AF-C 3. I didn't turn-off eye-start. However, I think that it would be fine. Only difference is that it wouldn't start focusing as soon. Eyestart now only...

Hands on! My thoughts having played with the A700

The viewfinder is excellent, clear and bright. They had the the 16-105 , the shots I took with it looked good. Cheers Mark

Hands on! My thoughts having played with the A700

On Tuesday I went to Dublin and attended the Photovision show at Croke Park. This was the first public outing of the A700 following the announcement last week. I'm going to put down my thoughts regarding the camera in no particular order looking at the things that were of interest to me. If I...

You should be able to get it fixed, Konica/Minolta said they would fix that problem even if out of warranty. No time limit. Mark

    Carl Zeiss 16-80mm

We knew that the lens was APS-C only, so I can't see what the problem is. We knew you would get vignetting. Mark
