Except for a few very high quality FX lenses designed more recently, will the majority of Nikon's lenses, including 'old' design primes such as the 24/2.8 measure up to the extreme resolution of the new sensor? Even with a 12 mp FX D700 or D3, corner sharpness of many of these lenses cannot...
Just fabulous. We always think of olden time as being black and white or sepia, but these color pictures make it seem that these people from our great-great grandparents' time were snapped just yesterday !

Recovering shadow detail has always been a strength of DSLRs. But recovering lots of highlight detail, like in the eagle photo, is something you can do only with the most recent DSLRs.
No, no, don't be content with what you have folks!! Sell, sell, sell those useless obsolete D90s.
I'm in the market for a used D90 and hoping used prices will fall soon.

Totally satisfied. A lot cheaper than sending away, just as knowledgeable, experienced and accurate, plus you get to speak to the guy when you check out the results which is very comforting.
