This is one of the best Nikon lenses I have used. Definitely a pro grade lens for color, contrast and sharpness.:thumbsup::thumbsup:

Just fabulous. We always think of olden time as being black and white or sepia, but these color pictures make it seem that these people from our great-great grandparents' time were snapped just yesterday ! Also, the old boatman in pic #14 was born in 1826!:o :o Just image!!

Recovering shadow detail has always been a strength of DSLRs. But recovering lots of highlight detail, like in the eagle photo, is something you can do only with the most recent DSLRs.

Totally satisfied. A lot cheaper than sending away, just as knowledgeable, experienced and accurate, plus you get to speak to the guy when you check out the results which is very comforting.
