Just my 2 cents. IMHO. To each his own. Both points are valid. There are always a better way, a better opinion, better hardware, better technology...never ending. There are so many criteria which contributes to qualities and expectations which is pointless to debate them and then gets shot...

I agree with your your observation. There is some education needed in the Singapore vg arena. As in this thread, messy is the word. Perhaps some sort of general guidelines are seriously missing and causing the vg market to be rather messy.

Just my 2 cents. Do yourself a favour and charge what you think you and your work are worth. I am sure your gear, time and skills are worth more than mere $150??!!

Videography is definitely more challenging and more work involved. From shooting style and coverage to steep learning curve of NLE and effects. Unfortunately, videography IMHO is the least appreciated. But to those with passion, this is what keeps the fire going when the going gets tough...
