but after the SDM start to work,
I try the method of turning the lens 360deg, thinking that it will make the lens smoother.
but WRONG thing to do . the O'Ring within the lens broke and it went it to the "Range indicator" of the lens.
Now my lens is struck, cannot even manual focus the lens...
OMG
I only bring one lens + K3 with me to USA going Lake Tahoe.
and it cannot auto forcus.
Try to reset camera body, can auto forcus for few mins and now cannot again
What can I do?
IF using manual forcus. do I just turn the lens untill I hear a beep sound = object in forcus?
Any sugguestions...
Thanks for all the advice
It seems that I would really have to buy another set of lens if I want to buy K-1
cos using DA lens +K1, its just way too trouble some to edit every single photo I take.
I guess I will have to wait for the Next K3-II or K2???
I would love to buy the new K-1
but I do not wish to spend on additional set of Lens
Theres are the lens that I have, can anyone advice me if I can use it on the K-1.
I would like to use the FULL Frame sensor , Dont want to buy a K-1 and use the crop sensor
Its ok for me with some distortion...
I use to have canon and 4 L lens ranging from 16mm to 300mm (spend $10000++)
Canon L lens are just too big n heavy n not water resistant.
I sold everything, n now just using pentax.
Actually when u buy pentax. Should use pentax lens. Cos pentax high end lens is about or less than half price of high end canon n nikon lens.
I find alot of times good lens on a lousy body is better than a lousy lens on a good body
