I bought the 24-70 first then the 24-105 later hoping for abetter walk around lens when travelling. But the photos on the 24-70 are that much better for macro and shooting in low light that i usually use the 24-70 these days

I have a G5 though i upgraded to 20d recently. the G5 is an excellent camera if your subjects don't move too fast. I found if you try to take pictures of people who are moving, you should consider using an external flash with bounce capability. I use a 420EX This way you get best of both...

Actually, the dust speck not withstanding and the soft focus, I really like this photo...i think it's the blue tinge shadowing the cat's face that makes it interesting.

Hmm. Don't want to be nasty, but somehow they look a little too "pedestrian" to me. Too much wide angle, not enough of a focal point to the pictures. Kind of how i take pictures when I'm not sure what to take... :dunno:

Bought Canon 20D body from Nick . He'd sold the 18-55 kit lens separately. Also went back and bought a 24-70 later on from him. No complaints so far with my stuff.
