Fantastic images and great composition. You certainly have got a 'creative eye' - Looks like I have still got a lot to learn - most especially about filter types. I am experimenting with a sheet of infrared cut filter acetate at the moment but am looking to try a few more optical filters...

    A newbie question on IR

don't forget another added attraction of shooting in raw - no jpeg artifacts and no 'in camera' tonal processing. I usually shoot in raw & jpeg - so that I can see a preview and judge whether I am getting close to the mark. Cheers Mike Tatt

How to use IR for Olympus 500e

Hi Muffin I have a 500e myself (nice new pressie) and would be interested in any results you create. I have just started dabbling in IR with a (self) modifed fuji 602 which gives decent results but I would love to see how the higher resolution/ low noise of the 500 looks. Good luck with...

Hi fellow forum friends. I've been interested in IR for a while and have been invstigating antique documents and manuscripts - trying to mimic forensic spectography on the cheap. After reading your great posts and picking up a few tips I thought I would have a go at using my trusty...
