Watch out for foggy days too, as one can sometimes not see byond your hotel door (if you are extremely unlucky)

Did you record it at High Quality?
Did you record it in "Night Mode"
Did you record it in poor light?
Is your auto-gain on?
Is your ND Filter on?
Check again. There is NO reason for your camera to screw up if all of the above are satisfied.
Even SD Camcorders do NOT record with high grain, if...

I have both and they never fail to amaze my friends with Nikon lenses of the same vintage.
MC: Most GONG's simply think that the Cameras shoot pictures on their own. Done right, almost ANY (sharp) lens will do the trick....
