Just voted for MS Color. I have to say I don't have much experience with other shops. There are 2 young chaps there with bo chup attitude but the rest of them are OK.

F2.8 is great for indoor shoot. For night scene, it will work if you just want to take scenery shots. But, for holiday pictures, if you want the person in front to stay in focus, you will need a tripod. Otherwise, the background will be just a big blurr.

I just bought the last 40D from MS Color on Tuesday. They told me they'll still be bringing 40D in but stocks will only arrive in November.

Actually, baby photography needs a camera with better AF capability. They don't stay put for you to take a well focused shot. With 40D, you will have higher percentage of in-focused shots.

I was using an old DPP software that came with the camera which didn't have any noise filtering option.:embrass: The new version I downloaded from Canon website is much better. Finally, I am able to play around with the noise filter setting to get close to Jpeg output from the camera.:)

What setting in DPP do you use to achieve the same output as the camera Jpeg output? I use +1 for saturation, contrast and sharpness on the camera. Unfortunately, I found the output from DPP is either softer or noisier than the default Jpeg output from the camera. I really appreciate your...

Probably the battery is dead. I have 8 Konnoc batteries. Two were bad. They just discharge too fast. Went back to East Gear as I just bought the batteries recently. They exhanged it for me. Great service at EastGear.
