hahahaha, if anything i'm trying to convince myself that the extra dough for the S1 is worth it...

i've been thinking of upgrading my Uzi... im wondering whether i should the c740uz or the S1... the S1 seems to be the better choice so far with IS (i'm impressed with IS), and the nice movie mode... but i'm torn... cause the c740uz is cheaper(tho the xD cards are hefty), and the camera seems to...

C-765uz is different, it's 4mp, and the C760uz is 3mp... the improvement that i know of from the C740uz to c760uz is movie mode with sound... and the zoom lens is now a 42~420mm equivalent (for teh c760uz), could be a good or a bad thing... i've got a hunch that the c760uz is only for some...

not manual flash intensity control, but the camera could automatically compensate right... it is a point and shoot... yeah i could force the flash off, but its gonna be my carry-around camera, im not gonna have a tripod handy all the time... im just a bit miffed cause i plan to use the flash...

the exposure compensation just shortens the shutter speed, doesnt alter the flash intensity, nor does it increase the f-stop.... so that doesnt help, a lot of objects 20~30cm away still shows up too bright, and this is using the natural mode as well, so its not the contrast set too high...

i just got one too... what annoys me is that the camera can't throttle down it's flash, it'll use F2.8 in close-ups with flash on... it wont turn down the intensity, or use higher f-stops... so it'll just come out too bright... my solution was to put a piece of masking tape on the front of the...

but, looking at the test images from reviews, the noise levels at higher ISOs, the C750uz seems to perform horribly.. the c740uz does much better at higher ISOs... the sole reason why i'm considering the 740uz over the 750uz... but the 750uz has so much more features that i seemingly think...

the first one looks still the second one has more motion... thats what i think..

there are some macro add-on lenses around, but mostly are combined together with a Wide-angle lens... as long as ur camera's lens is threaded... tehn u'll just have to buy some step-up or down rings... my conception on close-up filters, is they help the camera to focus closer, true...

:rbounce: i havent sent in any warranty in before.. usually i'll just show them the receipt, evne if it's like 10 months after purchase, did that with my Nomad 2... my dad did something like this with his Voice recorder or HP once too...

say for the 2100 or 700... anyone uses any??? how much did it cost ya'? and any sample pics???

yeah i used the Olympus C-210... the IS made the vignetting worse, and the vignetting comes out in different places.. but i couldnt have gotten sharp photos without it... i used my C-2100uz for this... btw, i changed the address... i just uploaded more pics, but udner a different user...
