I put a pass on the 17-55mm just in case I move the FF. Don't want to stick with too many EFS lens. This is also due to the quality build of the L lens and their weather/dust sealing. I just hate dust in the lens.

bought the 24-105mm and love it! f4 is a little small for indoor shooting, but even f2.8 wouldn't fit the bill because then for me the DOF is too low... so buy a flash! and don't look back. IS is great! I am now just looking for a 10-22mm. Personally i think 10-22mm + 24-105mm + 70-200mm is nice...
