@jules i believe there's no similar issues with my cle as those you described on yours. had several rolls of properly exposed film on mine until the shutter faulty opening happened. just to report here that i have 2 positive replies from US repair stores already and may try shipping it there...

my minolta CLE recently experienced a faulty shutter where it only opens a third of the way. is there a reputable shop/person where i can have it serviced? thanks for any leads.
