OK guys I got the Seagull SYK-5 from dealextreme.com. Tested it, and it works with my Nex 5 with HVL-F20S flash, but only in full manual mode.

I tried using my Nex 5 with the HVL-F20S to trigger an a old skool opptical slave flash. Set in M mode with rear sync. No luck so far, pics are just dark, not out of syn with half bright half dark. Any way to get it to work with an old skool slave flash? I read about the seagull solution on...
