the LCD will switch off when I view the the VF, other then that the camera works fine, how do I undo this?

Please help as I am having a problem with my A2 I can't seem to be able to use the view finder, everytime I look atthe view finder I can only see a black screen it there some setting that I might have lock it. thanks
