Was looking at the Giottos QU100 mini tripod which has good reviews but it's impossible to find online. It looks similar to Manfrotto but at half the cost. Maybe forced to get the Horusbennu/Fotomate mini tripod which I'm not too keen on.

No one thinks it's a terrible photo, especially a wedding photo? One of the worst I've seen. The couple should ask for a refund from the photographer.

Must say I'm very surprised by all the bad experiences here. Bought a P&S from them some years back and was a pleasant experience. Checked out the G3 a few weeks ago and it was also ok - I was clearly there just to touch and see, not to buy. The lady (boss?) was friendly and even entertained me...

Is that even for general outdoor or just in low light situations?

Does Panasonic Sg honour the warranty? How would you check that it's a legit set? I'm thinking of checking out the 20mm in Bangkok.

AP sells 3rd party batteries too - abt $40 if I remember correctly.

I think they got their target audience - people who buy cameras based more on looks than function.

I reckon many go for the Oly EPs because of the sexier rangefinder form. But I'm getting the G3 as soon as the test reviews for the X lenses are out.

After adding 7%gst and shipping it's like S$500+. Local selling btw S$540-580. Doesn't seem worthwhile ordering overseas when you don't even save S$100 and have to put up with all the related uncertainties.
