Here's a low light shot 18.5mm, f1.8, ISO400, 1/40 sec

I have been trying out the 18.5mm/f1.8 lens over the weekend, love it, take nice portraits (with a bit of bokeh), and relatively sharp image even in low light condition. I put to aperture priority and f1.8 for most of my shots. It now sits permanently on my J1 :)

I'm using Flucard Pro with my Nikon J1, can immediately view and download the photos to my iPhone or iPad, without any wifi connection required. Should be able to work with most cameras out there. There is another Eye-Fi card that should do the same thing but I have not tried that card before.

bought it at TK Foto, $230... great lens, now my 10-30mm stays at home, this one and 30-110mm should meet most of my needs :)

I'm using J1, got it for free so definitely good price :D But I also invested in the 30-110 lens, now waiting for the f/1.8 lens in Nov to complete the range. The camera is good for my purposes and I enjoy shooting with it :thumbsup:

buy the 30-110mm lens, it comes with a hood, can be used for both lens
