i thk so too. seems to me, panny trying to move the lx3 before G10 hits the market. right now, not many with 460k pixel lcd screen. tht's a big selling point for me.

you can also consider the olympus "mew" 1030 sw. its waterproof and shockproof. just bot one at comex for $599, and u get 3x4gig card plus spare battery. this model was released jan-08, but they just release another face-lift model yesterday in europe. i'm into my 2nd mew, the first one...

i hv muslin backdrop, but not suitable for full body shot, only portrait type. some chairs, but not good prop. but we dont really need prop unless we want to do full body shoot anyway, i'm flexible, but wld like to do full body shoot if possible.

hi, i'm not a pentax user, but keen to join. I can provide a fairly large hall in a condo at bukit timah, shld be able to accomodate 6-8 photog. i can also provide a portable studio back drop and reflector. for the paper backdrop, which i normally discard, will have to split, its about $85...

had the same thought as you, but finally bot the botero collapsible 5 feet x 7 feet. its spring loaded and folds into a 2 feet diameter flat disc. bot it for us$79.95 at b&h, new york. not sure where u can get it in singapore.
