TS: battery is a yes, but for another extra batt,memory card and case it is usually given to you when there is promotion for the particular dslr that you are buying and the promotion usually makes you buy the lens - p.s i have nvr seen any camera store having such weird promotion where they sell...

actually to be sure, go to some camera stores . they usually have some memory cards in case their potential camera buyers want to try taking pictures with the cameras b4 buying them , maybe you can try asking them to lend you their cf cards? but lets hope they have 4gb coz usually they only have...
