yeah I am understand on teory of DOF, but it this possible to be done by any compact camera? any one using F200EXR able to take potrait with blurring background before?

how to take a portrait with blurred background with Fujifil F200EXR? i had tried so hard by using P-MODE, but only can see abit blurred background only. It very easy to take by macro mode, example flower shot, portrait I think is imposible. If you can produce it, any photo sharing on this?
