you can assign the (func.) button to change your AF mode... Very convenient i must say. Actually D90 got more button then 500d so should have more shortcut key.

My height is 184cm (eye level=175cm). Is there any tripod that has that kind of height. My setup is D90 and heaviest lens is tamron 18-270 (0.5kg). Budget around 200++.

Majority seems to choose the 24-70. But wont it be too heavy to bring around... it weight nearly a kilo. Plus body and grip will total up to 2.5kg... How many ppl carry this set-up for travelling?

This lens VC really works especially when u zoom to 270... before u press the shutter button u can see ur picture shake so badly. but when u press the shutter, the image become still. really like the VC. Will try this at bird park this Saturday.

Found a new way to search for picture taken by most lense, try flikr, they have a pool for anyone to put the pic inside, really useful. just type the lens brand and the lense type u are searching for at their search engine. hope it help.
