Hi All, Currently owned a 50mm F1.8, my usage of this lens is mainly for low-light situation or taking kids photo. The sharpest on this lens is F3.2 and above but soft below F3.2, so most of the time I'll set to F3.2 only. Recently read so much about this Tamron 17-50 F2.8, most reviews or...

thanks everyone confirm about the OS idling sound......really enjoy using this lens, F8 to F11 can get really sharp image but only things is a bit on the heavy side.

bought this lens few days ago, found something strange not sure if it's normal or not...... every time after the camera idle for about 1 minute u can hear something moving inside the lens for a second, is it normal?

Just couldn't find any information about the Zoom level in playback mode, does anyone know which level is actually show in 1:1?

Can I ask if i shoot in RAW+Jpeg mode, does the camera apply all the settings on jpeg?
