The ink catridges of Canon and HP comes with print head. Epson print head is attached to the printer itself.

You need to depress the "*" button and wait for the camera to focus then depress the shutter button. There will be a moment of blank on the LCD when first pressed, once the image comes back you will see that the focussing guide turns green that is when you press the shutter.
