Thanks for the reply, Think I need more training :) I tried hand held 2 weeks back. Saw a fly with red eyes at Kent ridge.. it became a blur red dot on legs instead haha. Arms tucked in, held breath or slow breath out.. super hard to focus with the shallow DOF... Ended up rocking back and...

Very nice Macro :) This will probably be a very noobish question, only found setup information.. But just wanted to ask how did you take those pictures of those insects that won't stay still? By the time I put my tripod down and trying to focus the image.. They're gone... Thanks.
