It seems that if I am in electronic shutter mode, the flash won't fire. Only in mechanical shutter mode than it will fire.

I just did a reset on the Leica DLux and the flash unit is working now. :) Guess the camera settings somehow goes haywire

yes, is on "on" position and is fully clip on. need to press the eject button to release the flash unit.... is there any settings i must set on the camera?

How do you enable the flash unit on the Leica DLux? I tried as per the instructions on the manual. but the flash is still shown as disabled on the lcd. Thanks
