Thank you people for the replies. I changed lens and the dust spot remains. At this point I'm pretty sure its on the sensor, however as it has to be zoomed in and taken at smaller apertures, that isn't really my concern yet (also because I'm less confident about cleaning the sensor). More...

Hi all I own a D5100 for less than two months (I did change lens couple of times), and I just noticed yesterday that there's a spot in my viewfinder. Having previously read up on cleaning dust, I decided to do some test shots. Alas I found the same dust spot on my photos (f/14 and up) So...
