I usually leave it on when doing regular photoshoots. Happened to me quite often when i'm ready to shoot and the camera was off, haha. Since 60d's battery life last me for almost 2 days while leaving it on, i've no issues so far. Nice thread :)

Maybe you're right buddy. Probably my friend got a not so good copy. He's looking for the older version but its pretty hard to find it nowadays. Gosh i'm lucky.

I got the 17-70 f2.8-4 recently, without the C. My friend has the C version and he regretted getting it from Alan. He said that the AF is slower & softer images. He prefers using mine. Maybe he needs to calibrate or update the lens firmware since the C version has the dock usb
