BTW I saw the Leica VLUX 1 (FZ50 equivalent) at SLS and was quoted S$1200/= Anyone knows how this would compare with a D40X or EOS400D?

If I'm not mistaken, you can get a new set for S$499/= and will get an extra 512Mb SDCard. So that's still a pretty good deal for those planning to get a holiday cam.

Yes he did mention that he had special viewer and mask to increase the number of shots ... I'll get him to take some test shots one of these days to see how the lens are doing...
