    Kodachrome Slides

Now there's a cruel blow! :bheart: There I was last night, all these thoughts of getting a couple of rolls of Kodachrome for old time's sake, dusting off the old Oly, now all in vain.... Ah well, back to the digicam and XP2... Then again, if there are enough people interested, perhaps some...

    Kodachrome Slides

Sorry to create confusion:dunno: It used to be that Kodak and kodak alone could do Kodachrome Processing. If memory serves, it is unlike any other process around. The pdf I read "implies" that a specialised pro lab "might" be able to do the process. Not a home lab or hobbist by any means...

anyway to prevent molding on Scanners ?

Happened to me too. 1 epson and 1 Umax. In both, it was possible to disassemble the scanner (carefully) and clean the glass. Reassembly was NOT real easy but was managed without any special tools. Clearly the success of this will vary with the exact model.

OOPS! Kodachrome is now processable independently.... Times have changed. Check out; http://www.kodak.com/global/en/professional/support/techPubs/e55/e55.pdf cheers

    Kodachrome Slides

Gee, I haven't shot Kodachrome for years (probably 15?). If memory serves, it can't be processed in Singapore. I think the closest place to have it processed was in Australia. Many photofinshers used to send it out (through Kodak) for you. Not too certain what the situation is now. You had best...

    Mf 101

I think I owe kex an apology. My previous post sounds rude. That was not the intention, no criticism or offence intended.

    Mf 101

I have to disagree ;) . Not ALL labs will do 120 processing "in house". Some will cheerfully take your film and then send it to someone else to process for you. This is followed by an exorbidant (painful!!!) processing charge. I has happened to me..... Since then, I have used fotohub and...

    Questions about Medium Format cameras

I think you will have an interesting learning experience ahead.... Since you have some time before you start, suggest you pay a visit to NLB or it's branches. I remember seeing a few titles specifically dedicated to Medium Format Photography, they might still be on the shelf. Before you spend...

    Battery Help! Konica c35

The battery you want (I think) is a Mercury Cell and therefore quite rare. I recently found a shop in Sim Lim Square selling 625 Mercury cells. It is on level 2 in the corner nearest Serangoon Road. It is run by nice people and you might ask them if they have the 675. Some useful info is at...

    6x6 med cam??

Just my 2 cents worth. Look at the Mamiya 6. If you are willing to spend on a 'bladt this isn't so far off.

Recommend me a small compact range finder.

I've been lurking in this discussion for a while. I got to say, all are good recommendations so far. If you don't mind not having a "real" RF and are happy living with an AF compact cam, there are 2 to consider not so far mentioned; Olympus Mju II and Yashica T4. A web search will probably...
