Hi Jer That is for AF illumination. What I mean is my SB800 fires preflash three times b4 actual fire. Thank you anyway.

Guys, I wonder why I can't disable modelling flash of SB800 on D300. In control panel, Modelling flash has been "OFF", but still the same. SB800 is used as master, DOF preview has been disable on the body too :sweat:. pls help as wasting battery power :)

I just bought it from Cathay Photo with price of S$720 two days ago. I tried Sigma 17-50, Tokina 16-50 and Tamron17-50. Sigma is not sharp (wanted to buy Sigma), Tokina's color was soft that's why I took Tamron. I do not know how to attach picture here.:dunno:
