I use the additional flash sync terminal on the D200. Of course, you can use other ways too, but I found that the sync was best with the wire connection based on the flash I am using which is a Nikon sb28 (hotshoe) and an old Starblitz 3600BTZ (flash sync).

Try to upload at around 800pixels width, it should get you a big enough size photo in Can't really see the details because the pics are too small. Look out for background distractions, #5 is good in this respect.
