Yepz. But by the time I can afford 5D Mark II....cameras may be antiques and obsolete...haha... Anyway what I am not sure is whether EF lenses can mount on 500D. Not written anyway so I assume can right? Because I want to buy EF 50mm f1.8

Got my 1st DSLR -- The new Canon 500D and ordered lens hood and filter online (cheaper). Unfortunately, i brought the camera to bangkok and adelaide during my travels and scratched the lens!!!! Lenspen, cloth, cleaning fluid doesn't seem to help. How?!!!!! So far I do not see it...
