    IC. I am going both. its a free and easy, backpack with fellow students, so free and easy. I can't afford a wide angle at the moment..so have to make do with the kit ba.     Hi all, Intending to bring a 55-250mm to Vietnam as a touring lens, is it too tight? I will be bringing a 18-55mm there for a wider angle. no choice cos I borrowed my 18-200mm to my younger bro.... any experience with 55-250mm as a touring lense? or is it just too tight? Many thanks!

    i have been using a phottix BG without any issue. its very good and feels solid. communicate well with the body too. it just survived a taiwan grp tour trip.

    Eos 1100D or 550D

    actually i will recommend the 550d if budget is not an issue. my first cam is the 1000D. after a while, i feel very limited by it. the 550d has better specs, so more space to grow as well. i guess the learning curve is as steep for both... just shoot, read manual, and shoot again...haha.. =)

    yup, i know my body is limiting, cos i already feel very limited by the 1600 iso at times. the sigma 18-200 can be slightly slow at low light... and the f2.8 wld be good without flash! i guess my next step it to upgrade the body first. was just asking around the 20+ to 300mm, which lens ppl...
