Yeah they will work but you don't have auto-focus to your advantage, another way might be close-up filters like others suggest, maybe the Nikon 6T or Canon 500D? I recommend 1.7x over 1.4 doh.

Hey brother, if you review his post carefully, he says changing is not a problem. And by that he means it will be an easy change which represents he does not have much lenses or maybe still only the kit lens. Why would it be a difficult change for most of us? Because we have invested so much...

Hey sorry, I would beg to differ from some of you guys. Especially the phrase above that the D90 is ONLY 1 up from the 40D. Actually, there are a lot of features better than those of the 40D's. Like, higher megapixels, ISO range, ISO performance, video, 920K dot LCD screen, VGA on LCD, more...

Now comparing D90 against D200 huh? I suggest the D90 still. D200... fairly old. Further more. someone in this forum recently upgraded to D90 from D200. Upgrade coz its much better and higher technology than the D200 except for the grip bit.
