Digi-Cabi, this is the same brand i saw at Challenger. John 3:16 is always crowded when i walked past. Probably bcos their price are good - maybe will pop-by one of these days. :D

Maybe will buy this for the extra grip .... w/o the 6 AA batteris shud be much lighter. you're right, it look quite nice with the grip - like holding the D40.

I think the original battery can lasted 400-500 shots if not using LCD screen which i think is good enough. Will it be too heavy to hold with the Grip? I thought the Grip can also charge the Li-on battery inside the camera when plug in.

Ok, going down to Funan later....will check out at Challengers (i saw a few displayed unit there last week).

actually i'm quite happy with the kit-lens......lucky i did not trade-in with the L-lens (costing $1100) during my purchased. I will slowly read and find out more from the user here before deciding my next lens. yes, i also looking forward to a newbies outing / gathering organise by CS.
