It's a good step up from point and shoot...I absolutely love it....it's light weight and good for travel too. But once you get serious, you will find it limited in many ways...but still a good entry DSLR.

But only the 12-24 F4 is compatible with D60 (if you require AF).

Yup...body is local warranty while flash and lens is international warranty. But make sure you buy it from authorised dealer. Grey set will have no warranty (by Nikon) no matter where you buy.
