Agree, covers full range for a DX camera. Though I would probably leave the 35mm prime out - just a personal choice.

I want to get this lens for my D7000. Was not sure whether to get the 35mm or 50mm, but now I think I'll go for the 50mm 1.8G. Checked price and was quoted 279$ at SLRR.

Lowepro250 - I dun use it for daily use, but only while travelling. Fits my D7000 and couple of other lenses well. Carries my laptop also - which was a key requirement. And a load of other stuff as well. Very convenient and fits really comfortable on your shoulders without feeling the burden.

What type of Nikon bag is provided as freebie? Is it the top loading type with lens storage on both ends?
