My camera has been through both snow and dessert (not in the same day) and its holding up pretty well. I have used it in a drizzle as well and dropped it more than once. These things are tough. I don't even use a proper camera bag any more.

I don't think so lah. Think about cameras in the past. Compact cameras, rangefinders and slrs existed side by side although they all used 35mm film.

If you read a little further: The website says Non-standard flash connection under pros and cons. Which means it will not take normal hotshoe flashes. I think the camera itself looks a bit funny. :bsmilie:

There is some truth in it. The widest crop lens Canon has is 10-22mm f/3.5-4.5 which is a 16mm equivalent. For FF, they have the 14mm f/2.8. However, not many people would find it practical to own the 14mm f/2.8 and 10mm on a crop body is usually wide enough.

Photos for comparison can be found on flickr. They have a really nice feature called camera finder. That will allow you to judge what both cameras are capable of in the right hands. You will probably not find much difference in color and sharpness. If you need more sharpness, lens are the way...

I use a normal, non-photography crumpler bag all the time. Other than the main compartment there are 5 side pockets to keep lens separated. It fits a 13" Mac when I need to go to school.

Very true. When you think about it, you need to waste a lot of film to add up to the cost of these gadgets plus invest time in learning how to use them. With a grey card, it only takes 1 step to color balance.

Clone or Healing brush the lens out? That is the only way to get it out of the picture. The other way is to place something decorative in front of the jewelry to block the reflection. Ribbons for example.
